พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติสุรินทร์(Surin National Museum)

        ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนสุรินทร์-ปราสาท หมู่ที่ 13 ตำบลเฉนียง ภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์มีการจัดเเสดงเป็น 4 ส่วน คือ อาคารที่ 1 เป็นโถงทางเข้าเเละทางเดินอาคารที่ 2 เป็นส่วนการศึกษา ประกอบด้วยห้องประชุม ห้องกิจกรรม ห้องรับรอง ห้องสมุด อาคารที่ 3 เป็นอาคารจัดเเสดงเเละสำนักงาน ประกอบด้วยห้องนิทรรศการถาวร ห้องนิทรรศการชั่วคราว ห้องทำงานเจ้าหน้าที่ อาคารที่ 4 เป็นคลังพิพิธภัณฑ์ ประกอบด้วย ห้องคลังโบราณวัตถุ ห้องปฏิบัติการอนุรักษ์เเละสงวนรักษา

        Located at Surin-Prasat rode,Moo 13,Tambon Chaniang.There are 4 areas inside.Buiding 1 is the entrance and the hallway.Buildding 2 is an education zone consisted of meeting rooms,activity rooms,reception rooms and a library.Buiding 3 is the area for permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as office spaces.Building 4 is the museum inventory i.e.antiquities inventory and conservation and restoration laboratory.

ปราสาทจอมพระ(Prasat Chom Phra)

     ตั้งอยู่ภายในบริเวณวัดปราสาท จอมพระ เป็นอโรคยาศาล หรือโรงพยาบาลหรือสถานที่รักษาผู่ป่วยในสมัยโบราณสร้างในสมัยพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7 ก่อด้วยหินทรายเเละศิลาเเลง หันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออกเป็นศิลปะขอมเเบบบายน สร้างประมาณ พ.ศ.1720-1780

    Prasat Chom Phra is located in Chom Phra District.it used to be a hospital during the reign of King Chaiworaman VII. With a complete sandstone and laterite structure,this place was built around 1177-1237 B.E,in Ba Yon art style and Facing to the noth.

     ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านพูนชาย ตำบลซบ อำเภอสังขะ ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอสังขะไปทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 4 กิโลเมตร เป็นศาสนสถานเเบบขอมประกอบด้วยปรางค์ 2 องค์ ตั้งเรียงรายกันหันหน้าทิศตะวันออก ก่อด้วยอิฐบนฐานศิลาเเลง มีการเเกะสลักอิฐเป็นลวดลาย เช่น ที่กรอบหน้าบันเป็นรูปมังกร(สร้างผสมระหว่าง สิงห์ ช้าง เเละปลา) คาบนาค 5 เศียร 

        Prasat Yai Ngao is located in Ban Phunchai,Chop Sub-District,Sangkha District,about 5 Kilometers away from Sankha District. It used to be a Khmer monastery,consists of 2 stupas facing to the east and standing on the laterite bast.in addition, decoration of the stupas was fulfilled by carved bricks depicting fairy animal called "Makorn"(Mixed between lion,elephant and fish).

หมู่บ้านทอผ้าไหมบ้านท่าสว่าง(ทอฝ้ายยกทองโบราณ)

หมู่บ้านท่าสว่าง ตำบลท่าสว่าง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุรินทร์ อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร การเดินทางสะดวกสบายไปตามถนนหมายเลข 3009 เป็นหมู่บ้านที่ทอผ้าไหมยกทองโบราณ ผ้าเเต่ละผืนต้องใช้เวลาในการออกเเบบลวดลาย เขียนเเบบ และเก็บตะกอนาน 2-3 เดือน ใช้เวลาในการทอนาน 1-3 เดือน ต้องใช้ช่างทอประจำกี่เเต่ละกี่ 4 คนขึ้นไป ทอได้ วันละ 5-7 เซนติเมตร ไม่มีจำหน่ายในท้องตลาด ได้รับคัดเลือกจากรัฐบาล ให้เป็นผ้าสำหรับตัดเย็บเป็นเสื้อให้ผู้นำประเทศต่างๆในโอกาสที่ประเทศไทยได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดประชุม APEC เมื่อเดือนตุลาคม 2546 และนายบิลเกต เจ้าของธุรกิจไมโครซอฟ ใช้เป็นผ้าประดับคฤหาสน์ ปัจจุบันมีนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยเเละชาวต่างชาติเดินทางไปเยี่ยมชมการทอผ้าไหมที่บ้านท่าสว่างเป็นจำนวนมาก

Ban Tha Sawang Silk Weaving Village-ancient golden weaving Silk.

The Sawang Village is located in Tha Savang Sub-District, Muang District, about 10 kilometer from Surin municipality. The village is easily reachable by travelling along the Road No. 3009. Here is well-know in weaving "Pha Mai Yok Thong Boran" ancient golden weaving silk. Each of Sin takes up 2-3 moths in designing, drawing pattern and collecting Ta Kor (the selection of silk yarn). it takes 1-3 months to be completed and need at least 4 weavers for each loom. Each loom produces 5-7 centimeters length daily. The silk is not generally sold in the market. The silk was honorably selected from the government to produce shirts for all country leaders in the occasion that Thailand hosted the APEC forum in October 2003. at present,both Thais and foreign tourists visit the village everyday.

     ศูนย์หม่อนไหมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ(โทร. 0-4451-1393) ตั้งอยู่ที่หลักกิโลเมตรที่ 3 ถนนสายสุรินทร์-บุรีรัมย์ (226) เป็นศูนย์ราชการที่มีกิจกรรมที่จัดไว้ เพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้ชมการผลิตหม่อนไหมในรูปเเบบห้องสมุดธรรมชาติภายในพื้นที่ 5 ไร่ของศูนย์ฯ แห่งนี้ท่านจะได้สัมผัส และเรียนรู้ขั้นตอนการปลูกหม่อนเเละเลี้ยงไหมครบวงจรเเบบพื้นบ้าน ท่านจะได้ชมการสาวไหม การย้อมเส้นไหมด้วยสีจจากธรรมชาติ การสร้างลวดลายบนผ้าไหม นอกจากนั้นยังเป็นที่รวบรวมลายผ้าทอ ทั้งผ้าไหมมัดหมี่ลวดลายผ้าทอต่างๆ ของจังหวัดสุรินทร์ เเละลวดลายผ้าไหมที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นไทย ทั่วประเทศนับร้อยลาย 

Agro-Tourism Center

     

      Surin Plants and Production Factors Academic Service Center(Tel.0-4451-1393) is located at the 3rd Kilometer on the Surin-Burirum Road(No.226).Throughout the 5-Rai area of this place, it consists of a number of activities arranged for tourists to see the cultivating of mulberry for silkworms in form of "Natural Library".In the center,visitor will experience and learn the steps of mulberry and silkworm leaf cultivation.Moreover, visitors can enjoy a demonstration of the silk spinning,silk dyeing from natural color,and pattern designing on the silk fabric called the Mud mee silk. in addtion, this plqace also collects other silk patterns not only in Surin, but also other local Thai unque designs from different places throughout the country.

   อำเภอชุมพลบุรีมีสภาพพื้นที่เป็นที่ราบและมีลำน้ำขนาบข้าง มีความชุ่มชื้นเหมาะเเก่การดำรงอยู่เเละขยายพันธุ์ของปลาไหล หลังจากเก็บเกี่ยวข้าวหอมมะลิเสร็จเรียนร้อยเเล้วชาวอำเภอชุมพลบุรีจะจัดงาน"เทศกาลปลาไหล ข้าวใหม่หอมมะลิ"ในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่สามของเดือนธันวาคม ของทุกปีโดยจัดขึ้นที่บริเวณสนามหน้าที่ว่าการอำเภอชุมพลบุรี

An annual festival in Chumphon Buri District. The festival will be held every third of December in front of the Chumphon Buri District office,after the harvest when eel is big enough for catching.

ตั้งอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่ตำบลจรัส อำเภอบัวเชด จังหวัดสุรินทร์ อยู่ห่างจากตัวอำเภอบัวเชดประมาณ 17 กม.ติดกับเขื่อนจรัส มีทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงามมาก มีสภาพภูมิประเทศเป็นป่าเขาที่สมบูรณ์ มีหน้าผาสูงชันเรียกว่าผานางคอย มีอ่างเก็บน้ำเขื่อจรัสอยู่ด้านล่างเหมาะเป็นที่ท่องเที่ยวพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ และศึกษาธรรมชาติอีกแห่งหนึ่งของจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ปัจจุบันวัดเขาศาลา อตุลฐานจาโร โดยกรมศาสนาได้รับอนุมัติพื้นที่ 10,865 ไร่ จากกรมป่าไม้ให้ดำเนินการจัดตั้งเป็นพุทธอุทยาน

It is located in the area of Charas Sub-District,Surin Province,about 17 kilomater from Buachet District next to Charas Dam.The scenery is quite spectacular with abundant forest landscape.There is a steep cliff called Pha Nang Knoi where Charas Dam Reservoir is situated below the cliff suitable to be as another relaxing and natural study place of Surin Province.At present,Wat Khao Sala Atulathanjaro under the authority of Religion Affairs Department has approved by the Royal Forestry Department with 10,865 rai to be founded as the Buddha Park.
